Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Glintdesk ("Glintdesk," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you access or use our websites, applications, desktop/mobile clients, and related services (collectively, the "Services").
1. Who We Are
The Services are provided by:
Hong Kong Towardway Intelligence Computing Technology Co., Ltd.
Towardway Intelligence Computing
ROOM 1213, 12/F TOWER A, HUNGHOM COMMERCIAL CENTRE, 39 MA TAU WAI ROAD, HUNG HOM, HONG KONG
2. Scope
This Policy applies to information processed through the Services. It does not apply to third-party services you may access through the Services (e.g., app stores, payment providers, or external websites).
3. Information We Collect
3.1 Information You Provide
- Account information: username/display name, login credentials (stored as a hashed password), authentication tokens, preferences.
- Support requests: messages, attachments, and diagnostic files you choose to submit via the Services.
3.2 Information Collected Automatically
- Device & app information: device model, operating system, app version, language, time zone, and identifiers used for security and session management.
- Network & connection information: IP address, approximate region inferred from IP, network type, latency, bandwidth, packet loss, connection timestamps, NAT/relay indicators, and telemetry required to establish and maintain remote sessions.
- Usage & performance data: feature usage, session duration, crash reports, error logs, and performance metrics.
3.3 Remote Session Data (Streaming & Control)
Glintdesk enables remote access/control. During a remote session, the Services may process:
- Screen streaming data: remote device screen frames (pixel data) needed to render the stream.
- Audio streaming data (if enabled): audio needed to deliver the stream.
- Control/input events: keyboard, mouse, controller, or touch input signals you send.
- Clipboard data (if enabled): clipboard content transferred between devices.
- File transfer data (if enabled): files and related metadata you choose to transfer.
Key point: Remote session data is processed primarily to provide real-time functionality. Unless a feature explicitly stores data (e.g., user-initiated recording) or limited logging is needed for security/debugging, we do not aim to store the content of your screen/audio/inputs.
4. How We Use Information
We use information to:
- Provide and operate the Services (account login, connectivity, streaming, session routing).
- Maintain security and prevent abuse (fraud prevention, detecting unauthorized access, enforcing rules).
- Improve performance and reliability (debugging, crash analysis, service optimization).
- Provide support (responding to requests you submit via the Services).
- Communicate service updates (important notices related to changes, security, or functionality).
5. How We Share Information
We may share information with:
- Service providers that help us operate the Services (hosting, networking infrastructure, analytics/crash reporting, customer support tooling). They process data on our behalf under contractual obligations.
- Legal and safety recipients if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of users and the Services.

We do not sell personal information for money.
6. Cookies and Similar Technologies (Web)
If you use our website, we may use cookies or similar technologies for essential functionality, security, preferences, and analytics. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Where required, we provide consent controls.
7. International Transfers
The Services may process information on servers located in different countries. We use reasonable safeguards designed to protect information when it is transferred internationally.
8. Data Retention
We retain information for as long as necessary to:
- provide the Services,

- maintain security and prevent abuse.
Retention periods vary depending on data type and purpose. We generally aim to minimize retained logs and diagnostics and to remove or anonymize data when it is no longer needed.
9. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information (e.g., encryption in transit where applicable, access controls, and secure development practices). No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
10. Your Choices and Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict certain processing of your personal data, or to object to certain processing.
How to submit privacy requests, complaints, or feedback: You can submit requests through the support/request channels available within the Services (the in-app Support page, such as the Android /support entry). Please include sufficient details so we can verify and process your request.
11. Children's Privacy
The Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn we have collected such information, we will take steps to delete it.
